What to have ready when you call

Access and handover

Car parks, private estates and yards often have barriers, height limits or permission requirements. Tell us who controls the site and how we get in.

At the other end, we need a named contact, a safe unloading point and confirmation that the vehicle can be received. If it is going to a garage, check their opening times first.

Non-runners and awkward vehicles

A vehicle that will not start, has locked wheels or sits low to the ground needs different handling from one that simply needs a lift. Tell us about any damage, flat tyres or missing keys so the right equipment is considered before we set out.

Tell us in advance if the vehicle is in a basement, on a narrow service road or behind a gate. Access restrictions can affect the equipment needed and recovery time.
