Motorbike collection after a private sale
For a motorcycle bought privately or online, agree who is authorised to release the bike and who will receive it. Include both postcodes, contact details, preferred dates and any restrictions on when the seller or buyer is available.
Confirm that the keys and any agreed paperwork will be available at handover. Tell us about steering locks, alarms or immobilisers, and whether someone at collection can release them.
Motorcycle delivery for dealers and auction buyers
Dealer-to-customer deliveries and collections from sale sites need the right release information. Send the dealer or auction reference, the site contact and the collection window, including any appointment the site requires.
For several motorcycles, list each bike and its collection and delivery details in one enquiry. Load planning and availability are assessed before a booking is confirmed.
What we need for a motorcycle transport quote
A complete first enquiry helps us assess the bike, route and loading requirements. Please include:
- Motorcycle make, model and approximate weight, if known
- Collection and delivery postcodes, with a contact at each end
- Preferred dates and any fixed collection or delivery window
- Whether the bike starts, rolls and steers, and whether the wheels are free
- Damage, modifications, unusual dimensions or fitted accessories
- Access restrictions such as steps, narrow paths, underground parking or locked gates
Loading, condition and handover
Let us know before quoting if a motorbike has a locked wheel, damaged steering, a puncture or no keys. A non-running motorcycle needs to be assessed for loading; a planned transport enquiry is not automatically a recovery booking.
Loading and securing requirements are agreed before booking. Declare panniers, loose luggage, spare parts or other items separately and ask what can travel. Do not assume loose belongings are included in a motorcycle transport quote.
What affects motorcycle delivery costs?
The collection and delivery locations, available dates, bike size and condition, and access at each address affect the proposed job. A flexible date or several bikes may change the transport plan, but suitability and pricing are confirmed individually.

Can you collect and deliver a motorbike nationwide?
Yes. Motorcycle collection and delivery are UK-wide, not limited to Harlow or Essex. Send the two locations, bike details and dates so we can confirm suitability and availability.
Can you collect a motorcycle bought online?
Yes, subject to the transport arrangements being confirmed. Provide the seller or dealer contact, collection address and release details, and agree who will hand over the bike and keys.
Can you transport a non-running motorcycle?
Tell us whether the bike rolls and steers, whether the wheels are free and whether it has keys. We will assess loading and confirm whether the job is suitable before booking.
Does someone need to be present at each end?
Arrange an authorised handover contact at collection and a receiving contact at delivery. Include their availability and any site access or appointment requirements.
