Dealer, auction and fleet movements
Dealers usually need vehicles moved between forecourts, to customers or from a purchase. Auction buyers need collections from sale sites within a release window. Fleet managers move vans and cars between depots, drivers, workshops and remarketing sites.
Include the vehicle details, locations and required dates in your enquiry so we can assess the transport arrangements and confirm availability.
Single vehicle or several
For a single vehicle, provide its details, collection and delivery addresses, and preferred dates. For several vehicles, send one list with the locations for each so we can assess loading capacity, routing and delivery order.
We will say whether a combined plan is practical. We do not promise that vehicles can share a load until the details are confirmed.
- Make, model, condition and which vehicles are non-runners
- Pickup and delivery address with postcode for every vehicle
- Any height, width or ground-clearance concern
- Whether open or enclosed transport is preferred
- Whether the order of delivery matters
Handover contacts and collection release
Name a handover contact at every stop, with a mobile number and opening hours. If the person changes, tell us. A driver waiting at a locked gate costs everyone time.
For auctions and dealer collections, have the release information ready: lot or stock reference, buyer name, any release code or paperwork the site requires, and the collection window. Sites set their own release rules and we may need the site contact in advance. Keys, spare keys and any locking wheel nut key should be with the vehicle.
Agreed timing
Let us know your preferred dates and which deadlines are fixed or flexible. Timings are agreed before booking. Traffic, site access and weather can affect the journey; we will keep you informed if arrangements change.
Repeat work by arrangement
If you move vehicles regularly, tell us what the pattern looks like. We can discuss how repeat work might be handled and keep your handover contacts and site notes together. Arrangements are made job by job or as agreed with you, not assumed.
Use the transport form to start. The recovery number is only for our 24/7 regional recovery service, not transport quotes.
Questions about trade vehicle transport
Can I send a list of vehicles in one enquiry?
Yes, and it helps. Include each vehicle with its pickup and delivery details, and we will tell you what looks workable.
What do you need to collect from an auction?
The lot or stock reference, release paperwork or code, the collection window and a site contact. Sites have their own rules, so check these first.
Do I need to be there at collection and delivery?
Someone authorised to hand over or receive the vehicle and keys must be reachable. Name that person in advance.
Do you offer set contracts for fleets?
Repeat work can be discussed and arranged with you. Nothing is fixed until timings and requirements are confirmed.
Is trade transport only for Essex?
No. Vehicle delivery and collection are nationwide. Recovery is a separate 24/7 regional service, with locations and availability confirmed when you call.
Nationwide delivery and collection
Collection and delivery can start and finish anywhere in the UK. Find the right transport service for your vehicle or machinery, whether you are buying, selling or moving between sites.
